Passive Voice

(BE + V3)

Kalimat aktif:

She reads newspaper. (simple present tense)
  S   V+s        O

Kalimat pasif:

Newspaper is read by her.


Cara merubah kalimat aktif menjadi kalimat pasif:

1. Letakkan obyek kalimat aktif di awal kalimat pasif
2. Tambahkan "BE" sesuai dengan tenses'nya
3. Ganti kata kerja (Verb) menjadi V3
4. Tambahkan "by" sebelum obyek kalimat pasif

Contoh:

1.  Kalimat aktif: He speaks Javanese. (simple present tense)
   Kalimat pasif:Javanese is spoken by him.

2. Kalimat aktif: My mother made a cake. (simple past tense)
   Kalimat pasif: A cake was made by my mother.
